Worship Services:
The summer services are held at Memorial Pines on Sunday mornings at 10:30am.. These ecumenical worship services are led either by clergy or lay people.
All are welcome!
Note if it is raining at 10 a.m. the service will be cancelled, however, be sure to check the MLCA Info Line at 705-687-4532 just to be sure.
Canoe Canada Day:
Everyone is welcome to this event. It is definitely kid friendly! Leave your cottage in time to paddle to Dew Drop Island by noon. Bring a picnic lunch and a bathing suit. Those who paddle the furthest win a watermelon! The association provides watermelon, cheesies and cold drinks. Some years there is a scavenger hunt for the kids to do.
(We attempt to hold this on Canada Day each year but will often move it to be more convenient for our members. Please check the calendar to confirm the date.)
Canada Day Fireworks:
These are held on the Saturday or Sunday closest to July 1. We hold them in Middle Lake. Cottagers boat to the This event is put on by a licensed pyrotechnician.
Canoe Lessons: 
Each summer for 4 days prior to the regatta we offer canoe lessons to the kids on the lake. There is a cost of $15 dollars per child which is used to cover expenses and the remainder is donated to charity.
The purpose of these lessons is to learn to feel safe and competent in a canoe and to have fun. Participants are encouraged to use their canoe as an enjoyable means of exploration and transportation around the Lake. Teens with canoeing experience will help the instructors. These teens can earn volunteer hours.
Slalom Tournament
10:00 AM start on Sunday, August 14, likely at the Woods Bay location. There will be classifications for various levels of experience and if we go as planned, contestants should have the opportunity and pleasure of skiing behind a beautiful, wakeless Ski Nautique. The tournament will be open to anyone and everyone on Muldrew Lake including guests.

For those new to the slalom course, Ted is happy to provide some tips (in advance of the tournament) to help your progression through the various challenges that this sport entails.
Swim and Canoe Regatta:
This event has been held for the past 85 years. In 2013 honorable mention went to 91-yr-old Jean Stinson, who's father J.B. Allen started the MLCA Regatta, and who participated in the 4-person canoe race
Children and Adults of all ages are invited to participate in one or more of the 34 events held that day. It starts in the morning, includes a BBQ lunch and ends in the afternoon with the awards ceremony. All participants receive ribbons but the Junior, Intermediate and Senior boy and girl with the highest score each win a Muldrew Lake Paddle.
You may do one activity or you may do them all. It doesn't matter. Nor do you have to stay all day.
It is a great way to meet people on the lake and to make lasting friendships.
Sailing Regatta:
Held Annually in Middle Lake near Hookery Island. This event is fun for all those who love to sail. There are prizes in the sunfish/sailfish and fastboat categories. All ages are welcome.
Other Events:
Each year we also host other one time events. In the last few years we have had a number of talks on turtles, a talk on White Pine Rust and one on native plants and shoreline rehabilitation. These talks are geared for all ages.
